With Patch 11.1 arriving next week, here’s everything you should do before Patch 11.0.7 ends!
Season 1 Rewards Going Away Soon
Many Season 1 rewards will be removed from the game on March 4 when Season 2 starts. Therefore, you should focus on obtaining them this week. You will find a comprehensive list here.
What’s New This Week?
- Cataclysm Timewalking is available this week on live servers. Turbulent Timeways will end next week with the launch of Patch 11.1.
- For one last time, pick up the weekly quest from Archivist Frithrun in Dornogal and complete 5 Timewalking dungeons or defeat 5 Timewalking raid bosses for 1 piece of Item Level 610 Hero-track gear.
- During this week, you can enter the Timewaling version of the Firelands raid.
- Pick up the Disturbance Detected: Firelands raid quest from Vormu located in Orgrimmar and Stormwind near the portals to Cataclysm zones.
- Search for Firelands skip groups in the Group Finder to go straight to Ragnaros.
- Defeat Ragnaros and loot
Time-Locked Cinder. - Head back to your main city and turn in the quest to receive
Cache of Timewarped Treasures. This bag has a chance to contain very rare mounts from the Cataclysm expansions or 1 piece of Item Level 610 Hero-track gear.
Khaz Algar Content
- There’s little reason to engage in Khaz Algar content before Patch 11.1 launches, except for completing Hero-track objectives outlined above. Pinnacle caches no longer provide meaningful gear upgrades, and with Season 2, many currencies—along with delve keys—will reset.
- If you are a new or returning player and would like to catch up on gear, we recommend you to do Siren Isle content for easy Item Level 584 gear.
Siren Isle Content
- Make sure your Cyrce’s Circle is fully upgraded to Item Level 658, so you can start Season 2 with a good ring.
- There is a catch-up system in place for the
Raw Singing Citrine ring upgrade consumable. Participate in any Siren Isle content for a chance to get it.
Tips for New and Returning Players
- Complete the Timewalking weekly quest from Archivist Frithrun for your first Hero-track gear piece of the week.
- Complete the Timewalking raid quest for your second Hero-track gear piece.
- Head to Siren Isle and focus on completing weekly quests. The vast majority is picked up at Flotsam Shoal, but some quests are picked up elsewhere on the isle. Check out your map for the icons.
- Each quest will provide you with 200
Flame-Blessed Irons. - When you have enough irons, you can head to Argarom and buy Item Level 584 catch-up gear.
- Alternatively, you can buy this gear on your main and simply send it to your alt.
