Red and Gold Cloud Serpent + Other Possible Rewards

Completing the Glory of the Pandaria Raider achievement rewards you with an amazing red and gold cloud serpent – the Reins of the Heavenly Crimson Cloud Serpent iconReins of the Heavenly Crimson Cloud Serpent. And yes, this is completely soloable, but some achievements are more annoying than others, either due to mechanics, RNG, or needing multiple lockouts. You can check out all of them in the video below, and we’ll go over the most annoying ones below it as well.

The worst one! You have to mimic five boss abilities, but if you’re high level, the abilities miss and can’t be copied. How to solo it:

  • You need two characters between level 50-60 (or a friend).
  • Use a tank spec on one character.
  • Form a group with your alt and use Instance Achievement Tracker to track progress.
  • Be careful not to kill the boss too quickly!

This one is super annoying. You need to enter the Spirit Realm and click a treasure chest within 1 second before the boss despawns.

  • Use a pet class or a Brewmaster Monk with Black Ox Statue to taunt the boss.
  • Stand right next to a Spirit Totem, click it, and spam-click the treasure chest.

The boss mind controls you at 5 stacks of her debuff unless you have a pet.

  • Use a pet class (Hunter, Warlock, or Mage Water Elemental) or a Monk’s Black Ox Statue to tank for you.
  • If you don’t have a pet, you might need a friend.
