Great Vault Gets a Queue as Players Have Some Fun on Reset Day

Staff's Avatar by Staff

As the middle of the week, so do the weekly Vault resets, and players are up to some fun and shenanigans!

Get in Line

As the weekly reset timer is minutes away, crowds gather in front of the Great Vault, lining up as if it were Classic WoW. Everyone’s hoping to finally get that one item they’ve been farming for – but of course, only a few lucky players actually get what they need, while the rest are met with the usual outcome: disappointment. Also known as a full row of whatever item you already have BiS. Maybe you got boots. Again. The wrong stats. Or maybe a trinket that almost fits your build… but not quite. Here’s zfiote documenting the proceedings.

Sign of Tears

As players get closer to the front of the line, they’re greeted by a simple, ominous sign:
“Tears Ahead.” Confidence instantly drops. You can almost feel your bones shiver – whether from the sign itself or the gear that awaits you. Tears is a weird way to spell boots, though.

For the few who did get what they wanted – congratulations. You’ve officially made it. Now prepare for next week, because your luck won’t hold!

Community Reactions

Was it all worth it? The vault queue sparked a wave of reactions, jokes, and memes across the community:

Meanwhile, others were stuck waiting – not for the vault to open, but for the server to cooperate:

How have you been doing with your vault drops lately? Better luck in Season 2 than 1?
