The latest PTR build for Patch 12.0.7 has been marked as a release candidate, meaning we’ll likely see it hit live servers within a couple of weeks! But there has been one change that people won’t expect.
Heroic World Tier
Patch 12.0.7 is re-introducing Heroic World Tier, previously seen in Legion Remix. However, there has already been some backlash over difficulty compared to reward. But it seems Blizzard has made some adjustments regarding how they intend the mode to be played, especially by players not in full Myth gear.
When trying to enter Heroic World Tier undergeared, players will now be met with a new message:
“Your item level is lower than the recommended for entering Heroic solo. The content is recommended for 3+ players. Are you sure you wish to proceed?”
Of course, this is still only a recommendation, and if you’d like to go charging solo into Heroic Val or Naigtal in greys, there will be nothing stopping you. But was this the solution players wanted? Let us know!
