Brann has been having some problems since patch 11.1 dropped, as he’s being very indecisive about his specialization. It seems the new tank spec was just one option too many, and for a lot of players he’s just stuck without any abilities whatsoever. Today’s hotfixes did address this issue for players who never did Delves before. However, that still leaves a lot of them with the problem.
One of These Has to Work, Right?!
While Blizzard are looking for the issues causing this, the community has already found a few possible solutions. Since this isn’t happening for everyone, players concluded there has to be a way to get it to stop for them. PowerOfAthena rounded up several of these solutions and shared them.
The one that worked for PowerOfAthena was heading to Dornogal and the Delve headquarters. There you can interact with the “Delver’s Guide” book on the table and open up Brann’s specialization menu. That won’t work the first time, but give it another go or two, as it can wake your Brann up and enable the spec choices!
Then there’s the more standard “have you tried turning it off and on again” solutions. From switching characters and trying to respec Brann there, addon updates, and, well, turning them off, as well as running out of the Delve and back again. There are also those that reported only having these issues in the new Delves added in patch 11.1.
