After a very intense day in the race, the top NA guild has done it! They’ve defeated the final boss of Nerub-ar Palace and claimed the win in the Race to World First!
A Massively Impressive Win
Liquid were ahead for the entire race and sealed the deal on day 12. After some very impressive progress in previous days, their best steadily went down from 61% to 33, to 15 yesterday. In the end it was “only” 15 more percent to get down, but those were also the absolutely hardest percentages. With a 3.44% wipe earlier in the day, it was very unclear where they could find more DPS. But dig up the damage they did, seemingly out of nowhere, getting the queen lower after phase 1. That was very clear from their recent 1.76% wipe, which then led directly to that incredible phase 3 performance and the kill!
The Kill
