Here’s a nice surprise, as one of the reveals from the upcoming Warcraft direct stream may have just leaked!
We were expecting something for the 30th anniversary of the Warcraft franchise, and we may have just found a piece! Wowhead’s dataminer Stiven found some pretty solid evidence of a Warcraft 2 remaster:
With fellow dataminer Marlamin also pretty much confirming it, without specifically mentioning the actual game:
And MMO-Champion has now also confirmed that the images were posted on Battle.net under the heading of “Warcraft II Remastered Internal Alpha”!
So it seems clear we’re getting a WC2 remaster soon! Are you excited? Could a Warcraft 1 combo also be attached? We’ll find out more during the Warcraft direct on November 13th at the latest.
