How do Level 80 players compare in terms of item level? Using data from Data for Azeroth, we get a look at the distribution across item level ranges for max-level characters!
The majority of players fall within the item level range of 600-609 with 16.9%. We have 15.9% of the player population at max level in the 610-619 range.
Close behind is the 620-629 range, at 9.1%.
On the higher end, only 3.6% of Level 80s have reached the 630-639 range.
Around 12.3% players are in the 590-599 range.
For those with lower item levels, 11.5% are between 580-589, while 4.5% make it to 550-559, and smaller percentages occupy the sub-550 item level ranges.
