It’s been a BIG week in the raid as the specs are moving all over the place! Paladins rejoice after their buffs and just keep moving up, Affliction is back without any help from the tuning, Feral starts taking over the direct damage charts, and plenty more!
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Devastation and Destruction hold firm in their domination of the top percentiles. Right after that, we see plenty of chaos, starting with Affliction’s resurgence, almost taking down its fellow Warlock and gaining four spots! Marksmanship takes a step down to let Affliction through, after which we see another non-changed spec moving a spot up, as Assassination remains the king of the Rogues in 5th. Unholy drops a spot after its mixed tuning, with Windwalker going down one as well due to that Affliction move. Frost DK finds itself significantly down, losing three spots in 8th. We then see Outlaw moving back up, same as in Mythic+, gaining a big 5 spots in 9th.
We see the first major move from the specs that got changes in the tuning down at the bottom of the top 10. Retribution has surged in the Mythic+ population charts, and the buffs seem to have helped it in the damage department as well. The Paladin moved a staggering 13 spots from just outside the bottom three to No.10! Right after that, we have another buffed spec moving upwards, as Havoc also gains a huge 9 spots. Augmentation has been doing much better in the dungeons, but it only manages to move two spots up from dead last here. Frost Mage’s buffs actually made it drop four spots into the bottom 3, and Subtlety finds itself in the final spot.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Affliction moves to the very top here, pushing a still very stable Devastation and Destruction out of the way, gaining 6 spots. Assassination also moves one up, pushing MM down, as the DKs cluster right behind them, Frost dropping three spots, and Unholy actually gaining one.
We then see some tuning effects as both Warriors surge from the bottom middle of the pack, grabbing the final two top 10 spots. Fury comes out on top, but just barely, rising 8 spots, with Feral making that exact same jump into 11th (Update: Feral actually did not receive its promised 3% buff with the tuning). While Retribution doesn’t quite manage to get as high as in the top percentiles, it still moves a giant 12 spots up, out of the bottom 3 and into 13th. Augmentation’s 15% bump didn’t manage to move the needle here as it’s still dead-last, joined in the bottom 3 by Subtlety and now Frost Mage.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
The boss chart is mainly business as usual with Assassination and Survival running things, but we immediately have a big shift as Feral dives in! The Druid leaps 6 spots up, despite not getting its promised buffs, right into 2nd, with an actually changed spec moving three spots up into 4th, as Arms uses its buffs wisely. Havoc also finds itself elevated into the top 10, jumping 6 spots up.
Mythic Bosses
We can see where Outlaw gets its performance from, as it dominates Stix and does really well on Bandit. Meanwhile, Retribution is surging on almost all bosses, while Affliction is still king of Bandit and moves into that same role for Mug’Zee as well. Speaking of the penultimate boss, they’ve become a truly Warlock-only zone, with all the purples in the top 3!

Heroic is much slower to move as usual, just now getting Devastation to the top. We do see the buffed Arms move two spots up into second, with Affliction actually falling down to 3rd. Ret does move up quite a bit here as well, but doesn’t quite make the top 10.
