Liberation of Undermine Raid DPS Log Rankings, Week 4: Post-Tuning Results

Staff's Avatar by Staff

The huge tuning pass has had a huge impact on the rankings – who could have guessed! While a certain Warlock is still on top, and even pulled out ahead even more, we do see most of the top 10s completely re-arranged. Windwalker is holding on well despite the nerfs, Devastation, Marksmanship and Survival are surging everywhere, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!

Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Heroic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

Affliction remains on top and pulls out ahead, but we immediately see a brand new No.2, with a giant climb out of Devastation, gaining 9 spots after its buffs! Marksmanship moves up as well, an even bigger 11 spots, to land in 3rd. Windwalker doesn’t drop too much after its nerf, losing three spots, with Assassination landing on top of it, moving 9 up. Shadow also drops three spots, just ahead of Outlaw which mostly remains stable, only losing one spot. Arms is two down, while Fire loses 5 spots. The final top 10 resident, Survival, is the biggest winner of the tuning, coming out of the bottom 3 and gaining 14 spots! Speaking of the bottom, we see Frost DK and Retribution join Augmentation down in the dumps, as both specs drop a few spots.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

We see a very different No.1 in the generalist bracket, as Assassination claims the gold, rising a huge 11 spots. Devastation holds the same spot as in the top percentiles, only gaining 6 spots here, with Affliction dropping one to accommodate the Evoker. Arms is actually holding steady in 4th, just ahead of a surging Marksmanship and a deflating Windwalker, down 5 from its first spot. Survival is doing even better here, landing in 5th, a cool 18 spots up. While Fire plummets 5 spots, Enhancement only loses 3, same as Fury, which closes out the top 10. Frost Mage doesn’t quite make it out of the bottom 3 here, even with its buffs.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

Assassination climbs to the top of the direct damage charts, pushing Arms down one. Survival beats out Marksmanship in the Hunter race, and Feral remains strong in 5th, just ahead of the two Mages.

Mythic Bosses

While we’re still not ready to switch over to Mythic as the primary focus of the stats, we will take a peek at the overall numbers, in addition to our usual individual boss look. We now have 19 guilds finishing the raid at the maximum difficulty, with around 215 on 5/8 and around 55 on 6/8.

Normal Overall Damage All Percentiles

Survival makes it to the very top in Normal, also rising from the lower half. The Warriors join forces to take two thirds of the top 3, just ahead of Devastation and a still pretty good Windwalker.
