Liberation of Undermine Raid DPS Log Rankings, Week 6: Devastation, Warlocks, and Windwalker on the Rise

Staff's Avatar by Staff

Evokers rejoice! Well, for about another day or two, anyway, as the tuning is coming. This week has seen a lot of changes, with Warlocks doing extremely well (and getting buffs this week on top), Windwalkers rising, and a whole lot more to see so let’s just dive right in.

Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

Devastation has risen to the very top before the tuning pass, and it’s a good-news-bad-news situation, as the spec isn’t getting nerfed, but plenty of others are getting buffed. Speaking of getting buffed, BOTH Warlocks in 2nd and third are getting some enhancements in the tuning, so the Evoker is very much at risk! Unholy remains stable in 4th, with Windwalker gaining a spot right behind it.

Marksmanship is the top Hunter this week as Survival dropped down 7 spots from its No.1, as it seems the short-lived bug did indeed boost them to the top. Outlaw is sitting in 7th, sandwiched between the Hunters, but it did pull ahead of Assassination in 9th. Fire closes out the top 10, dropping a few spots and beating out Shadow. Elemental and Demo drop down to the bottom 3 to join Augmentation, and while all three specs are getting buffed, the Warlock just got half its buffs cancelled!

Overall Damage All Percentiles

Devastation is on top here as well, but just barely, as Unholy is doing much better in the generalist bracket, actually gaining three spots in 2nd. Windwalkers are also surging, also rising three, just ahead of Affliction, which drops two. Survival holds on a lot better here, only losing four spots. Destruction is the big winner of the week, jumping a big six spots up into 6th, ahead of a rapidly dropping Assassination and a rising Outlaw. Marksmanship and Shadow close out the top 10, the Hunter going down and the Priest up.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

The direct damage chart is a lot more stable, as we see Survival only dropping one spot, allowing Assassination to take the lead. Unholy grabs two spots and pushes Arms down, as Fire also rises.

Mythic Bosses

We have over two thousand guilds that have taken down Rik Reverb, over 1.3K for Stix, over 600 for Sprocket, and even One-Armed Bandit is close to 300!

Heroic Overall Damage All Percentiles

Devastation is on top in Heroic as well, but Arms is giving it a big run for its money. Survival actually rises and moves into 3rd here, joined by Windwlker in its upwards trajectory. The bottom sees two Mages join the Evoker, as all three are getting buffed.
