We’re in week 9 of Season 2, and just as things were beginning to stabilize, we have a new class tuning pass coming this week! Affliction was on the way out, but with this week’s buffs, it may be back, and with various other specs getting some solid buffs, no spot is safe! Well, maybe Devastation’s. We also may see Augmentation move out of its forever-last spot with a 15% buff, but that remains to be seen.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Devastation remains on top this week and actually pulls away a fair amount, as we have a new No.2. Destruction pushes past Marksmanship with a solid lead to boot. The DKs gather up right after that, Unholy taking the upper hand, but also possibly getting some nerfs in the tuning. Assassination and Windwalker gain a spot due to Affliction dropping out of the top 5, losing four spots in 8th. Shadow moves slightly up in the world, swapping with Arcane as the Mage claims the final top 10 spot. The bottom 3 remains the same, but with another wave of massive buffs coming to Augmentation, the Evoker might be moving up. That is if people start playing it again.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Devastation gains the top spot this week here as well, with Affliction taking a dive, all the way down to 7th from No.1. There’s no shortage of Warlocks in the top 3, however, as Destruction happily takes Affli’s place and rises two spots. We see Frost DK move a big four spots up in 3rd, leaving Unholy way behind, as the other red spec actually drops two in 8th. Survival makes a surprise appearance in 4th and bursts a huge seven spots up, pushing Assassination down one! The Rogue is sandwiched between two Hunters, as Marksmanship drops two in 6th. Windwalker drops one down while Outlaw closes out the top 10, rising a colossal 8 spots! We still see Paladin down in the dumps with Aug and Subtlety here.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Assassination topples Survival in the direct boss damage chart, and Frost DK rises quite a bit as well, pushing Arcane down a spot. Marksmanship and Unholy are hanging in there, with Arms remaining stable as ever.

Affliction is actually moving up in Heroic while the rest remains pretty stable, as the chart is usually slower to update to the latest changes.
