It’s been two weeks since we last checked on the raids, and a lot has happened. The Heroic and Mythic playerbases are almost the same, with Heroic dropping a whole lot of players in particular. We also see Retribution climbing the popularity charts, as Demon Hunters and Augmentation climb the damage ones!
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Most Played Specs
Paladins are rising in Mythic, while also totally dominating Heroic. Retribution climbs one spot into 4th, pushing Devourer down while the top 3 remain very stable. That’s actually the only movement we see in the top 10, and while Mythic is getting very close to the Heroic player count, it is dropping overall from a couple of weeks ago when we last checked.
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
Windwalkers may have had their day two weeks ago when we last checked, but that’s changed entirely, as the Monk drops a huge 6 spots down in 9th. Devourer is making a comeback, rising 4 spots in third, as Frost and Survival remain in place at the top, the DK pulling away pretty significantly. Subtlety is also on the rise, gaining two spots, but it’s Augmentation that’s taking the spotlight. The Evoker jumped a colossal 12 spots into 5th place after the tuning pass! Marksmanship and Frost Mage find themselves down a few spots, while Havoc moves up one. Balance claims the final top 10 spot, rising one just behind the fallen Monk. Beast Mastery may be the 6th most played spec in Mythic, but here in the top percentiles, it’s right down at the bottom with Feral and Arcane.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
The top 6 is completely solid, even after the tuning pass in the generalist bracket. We do see the same surge as in the top percentiles for the two Demon Hunters right after that, however, as Havoc comes out on top after its pretty big 5-spot jump. The Warlocks are holding on here, with Demo unmoved in 6th and Destro just dropping 1 spot in 9th. Unholy finds itself at the bottom of the top 10, three spots down from last we checked.

Heroic
Most Played Specs
Heroic participation took a nosedive over the past couple weeks, as its numbers are almost identical to Mythic, with the top specs at almost half the player number. Paladins took over once again, from Frost Mage this time, and Beast Mastery pushed Unholy down into 4th.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
The top 5 remain the same, with Survival moving further ahead of the pack. Affliction and Demonology rise up a few spots, and Arms made a huge leap post-tuning, gaining 7 spots in 7th.
