The WoW community has found itself again in an odd, yet heartwarming situation. Players are waiting in lines for the World Quest Revenge of Krag’wa. This quest is a part of the BFA meta-achievement A Farewell to Arms, which requires you to complete it solo within 45 seconds. Players have recently been doing the BfA achievement, as patch 11.0.7 added the awesome Janni transformation mount! It can even wield weapons AND be a piggy bank for shields! Wait what?
Anyway, back to the frog. With limited mob spawns, the line has been created to ensure that everyone gets a fair chance at the quest – evoking images of waiting for rides at Disneyland, as Veridically_ points out:
Teamwork and Toads
Players share stories of cooperation, from forming lines to helping others by rounding up mobs or offering advice. Despite the grind, many celebrate the positive social interactions this quest has fostered.
Luck vs Strategy
Some luck out and find the area empty, while others use clever tactics like Warmode or low-level Chromie Time alts to avoid crowds entirely.
Throwbacks to Classic WoW
The communal spirit and problem-solving remind many of Classic WoW, where waiting and teamwork were the norm, even as far back as the very first stress test!
Hopefully, this sort of thing continues and grows even more in retail! Because let’s face it, there’s no better WoW than the socially-cooperative one!
