Patch 11.0.5 Brings Major Changes: Soloing Raid Bosses Just Got Easier!

Patch 11.0.5 introduced several important changes that make soloing raid bosses much easier for players across different raids! Players have been sharing their firsthand experiences, highlighting tweaks that have made it simpler to complete encounters solo, and here’s a breakdown of the most significant updates!

Castle Nathria

  • Sun King’s Salvation – This once tricky encounter for solo players, especially classes without self-healing is now easy. Clicking just one healing fountain brings the Sun King to his first shade phase. Using a one-start bandaid without any healing boosts will get the shade to appear again. When applying the bandage, stand in front of the stage to be able to select him.
  • Stone Legion Generals – The fight’s mechanics have been simplified. Instead of needing multiple orbs to charge Renethal’s AoE attack, you now only need one, greatly speeding up the boss fight.
  • Sire Denathrius – In Phase 1, Slow March no longer slows you down. This means you can walk normally during the transition, getting there with 7 extra seconds.

Sanctum of Domination

  • Kel’Thuzad – Players have spotted a potential bug in the Kel’Thuzad fight. During the Phylactery phase, the mob you need to attack appears to be invisible. However, using ground-targeted AoE abilities can still hit the hidden target, allowing players to start the fight.

Sepulcher of the First Ones

  • Xy’mox – Portals now do around 85K damage when they drop and the rings don’t do any damage.
  • Rygelon – While still hitting hard, the boss can be nuked down without any issues.
  • The Jailer – Soloing the Jailer is also possible and the mind control can be avoided using line-of-sight techniques.

Ulduar

The Flame Leviathan change may be an unintended result of scaling changes.

  • Flame Leviathan‘s health has increased for some reason, but the boss deals little damage, making the fight more of a time investment than a challenge.
  • Razorscale has apparently been simplified to auto-trigger her landing without player interaction and the harpoons.

Siege of Orgrimmar

  • Galakras is now soloable as the need to activate both towers has been removed!
Praise the Pantheon..Galakras is now soloable again! (didnt need the other tower)
