Patch 11.1.5 introduces new content like Dastardly Duos, Horrific Visions Revisited, and the Nightfall event. While most players focus on the gameplay experience, these activities also offer gear upgrades! Here’s how each event impacts your gearing path.
Dastardly Duos – Weekly Champion Gear Boost
The Dastardly Duos event offers a consistent gearing path. You will find one piece of Champion-track gear inside 
Dastardly Prize Purse, the weekly quest bag.
Dastardly Duos wins will give you Veteran-track Item Level 632 gear.
Horrific Visions Revisited – Veteran to Hero-Track Loot
Horrific Visions return in Patch 11.1.5 and will provide you with gear based on the completed objectives and the masks used during the run.
For example, completing one objective and defeating the main boss provides you with a piece of Veteran-track Item Level 626 gear.
A full clear of all five objectives gives improved loot. Clearing Visions with 1-5 masks boosts item level further, up to Item Level 656 Hero-track 4/6 gear.
Weapon vendors in Dornogal/Stormwind/Orgrimmar will provide you with Veteran-to-Hero-track weapons, up to Item Level 656.
Nightfall – Champion Gear and Veteran Drops
Nightfall, the new event in Hallowfall, offers another reliable gear avenue:
- Champion gear is available directly from vendors in exchange for
Radiant Emblems of Service. It seems to be limited to 1 token / piece per week.
- The Renown vendor provides you with a Champion-track neck at Renown 10.
- Defeating Nightfall rares drops Veteran-track Item Level 629 Warband-bound gear.
