Patch 11.1 Nerub-ar Palace Raid DPS Log Rankings: Day 1

Staff's Avatar by Staff

Here we are in the weirdest week of tuning of the expansion. The patch with the class changes is here but the raid isn’t, and there’s definitely going to be another class tuning pass before the new raid arrives next week. Not to mention it’s only been a day for EU guilds and two for US. So when we say these rankings are preliminary we really mean it in many, many more ways than one!

Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Mythic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

It’s Arms all the way down! The Warrior secured the No.1 spot basically everywhere in this weird inter-season slot. Subtlety has become the king of the Rogues and Havoc is right up there as well, making it a brand new spec top 3! Enhancement held on pretty well in 4th, but we see a rare sight right after that as Windwalker finds itself all the way up in 5th! Retribution holds back Unholy and Fury, with Devastation and Shadow closing out the top 10. Augmentation will forever be at the very bottom it seems, this time joined by Demonology and Beast Mastery.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

The top 4 here is the same as above, and we then see Unholy doing better as it beats out Windwalker and Fury, with Retribution dropping all the way down to the end of the top 10, as Shadow and Devastation also move past it.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

Things are very similar in the direct damage charts, as we need to go down to No.6 to see the first change, where Marksmanship pokes up. Feral is also still doing well here, just above Shadow and Windwalker, as Affliction closes out the top 10.

Individual Bosses

Things are looking about the same as in the overall data on two of the final three bosses, as Silken Court stands out, pushing Affliction to the top.

Nexus Princess Ky’veza

The Silken Court

Queen Ansurek

Heroic Damage All Percentiles

Heroic doesn’t seem to like Havoc as much as Mythic, but the spec is still up there. Subtlety rules the roost and Enhancement only fell one spots, with Unholy doing very well, just above the Demon Hunter.
