It’s time for our very last visit to the palace! Season 2 and the new raid start tomorrow, but the big class changes already arrived with the patch itself. We have a good look at where the specs are in general, but there’s still one tuning pass coming and of course the completely new raid. Arms seems to be in a dominant position, and it’s great to see Havoc and Windwalker back at the top, so let’s dive in.
Important reminder: these rankings are based on Nerub-ar Palace bosses. This may all change based on the new Liberation of Undermine bosses and how specs perform on them.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
As we saw on day 1, Arms is coming out of the gate strong, but they are getting a nerf to Execute with this week’s tuning. Subtlety is also getting a small nerf while Enhancement seems to be getting nuked based on our tier list for Season 2. Havoc is also receiving a small nerf but should be fine, and it’s great to see Windwlkaer and Retribution this high up! Devastation is also doing well and is even getting a buff with the reset. Shadow and Fury stick around in the top 10, with Feral grabbing the final spot, although it’s also getting nerfed. The bottom 3 are mostly getting buffed quite a bit with the exception of Augmentation, which seems doomed to the last spot for another tier.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
We see Havoc doing better here as it takes down Enhancement, which will be a much easier feat after the tuning. Devastation climbs even higher here and may get even better with the buff. Shadow and Marksmanship take up the middle of the top 10, with Unholy doing better behind them.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
The direct boss damage chart looks very similar to the overall one, with Marksmanship and Affliction doing better.
Tanks
We’re taking a look at the tanks as well so we have a comparison point but, as usual, this is only tank DPS that’s being measured, which is why their chart maxes out at 65. Blood remains on top as Prot Warrior falls a few spots. Guardian rises from the bottom into 3rd, as Prot Pala drops two spots. Brewmaster is the biggest loser here, falling three spots into last place.

Healers
The patch seems to have really turned things around for Discipline, as it went from dead-last to the top spot, pushing Mistweaver down one. Resto Shaman is also on the way up, taking Druid’s spot, with the big loser of the patch being Holy Paladin, as it drops 4 spots into the penultimate slot.

Heroic Damage All Percentiles
The top 3 mirrors Mythic here, but we see Unholy doing a lot better in the easier difficulty.
