Blizzard this week released the second Release Candidate Build of Patch 11.1, hitting live servers on February 25. This build contains additional class changes that we’ve highlighted below.
Demon Hunter
Blade Dance – Strike nearby enemies for [3 * (15.84/21.2256% of Attack power)% + (47.5224/63.69% of Attack power)%] Physical damage. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- First Blood – Blade Dance deals [(3 * (15.84/21.2256% of Attack power)% + (47.5224/63.69% of Attack power)%) * 195 / 100 * 1] Chaos damage to the first target struck.
- The Hunt – Havoc: Charge to your target, striking them for (559.35/604.1% of Attack power) Chaos damage, rooting them in place for 1.5 sec and inflicting (361.254/390% of Attack power) Chaos damage over 6 sec to up to 5 enemies in your path. The pursuit invigorates your soul, healing you for 10% of the damage you deal to your Hunt target for 20 sec. Vengeance: Charge to your target, striking them for (559.35/604.1% of Attack power) Chaos damage, rooting them in place for 1.5 sec and inflicting (361.254/390% of Attack power) Chaos damage over 6 sec to up to 5 enemies in your path. The pursuit invigorates your soul, healing you for 25% of the damage you deal to your Hunt target for 20 sec.
- Sigil of Spite – Place a demonic sigil at the target location that activates after 2 sec.Detonates to deal (427.14/461.3% of Attack power) Chaos damage and shatter up to 3 Lesser Soul Fragments from enemies affected by the sigil. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- Wounded Quarry
Expose weaknesses in the target of your Reaver’s Mark, causing your Physical damage to any enemy to also deal 20% of the damage dealt to your marked target as Chaos.

Druid
- Feral Frenzy – Unleash a furious frenzy, clawing your target 5 times for [(13.75% of Attack power) * 5] Physical damage and an additional [5 * (27.5% of Attack power) * 6 / 2] Bleed damage over 6 sec.Awards 5 combo points.
- Master Shapeshifter – Your abilities are amplified based on your current shapeshift form, granting an additional effect.Wrath, Starfire, and Starsurge deal 30% additional damage and generate 43750/30625 Mana.Bear FormIronfur grants 30% additional armor and generates 43750 Mana. Cat FormRip, Ferocious Bite, and Maim deal 60% additional damage and generate 175000 Mana when cast with 5 combo points.
Evoker
- Rumbling Earth – Upheaval causes an aftershock at its location, dealing 50/30% of its damage 2 additional time.
Hunter
- Beast Cleave – After you Multi-Shot, your pet’s melee attacks also strike all nearby enemies for 90/80% of the damage[Kill Cleave: and Kill Command strikes all nearby enemies for 90/80% of the damage] for the next 6.0 sec. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
- Fury of the Eagle – Furiously strikes all enemies in front of you, dealing [(158/190% of Attack power) * 9] Physical damage over 3 sec. Critical strike chance increased by 50% against any target below 20% health. Deals reduced damage beyond 5/8 targets.
- Precise Shots – Aimed Shot causes your next [Chimaera Shot / Arcane Shot] or Multi-Shot to deal 100% more damage and cost 70/30% less Focus.Your Auto Shot damage is increased by 100% but the time between your Auto Shots is increased by 2.0 sec.
- Call of the Wild – You sound the call of the wild, summoning 2 of your active pets for 20 sec. During this time, a random pet from your stable will appear every 4 sec to assault your target for 6 sec. Each time Call of the Wild summons a pet, the cooldown of Barbed Shot and Kill Command are reduced by 50/25%.
- Kill Cleave – While Beast Cleave is active, Kill Command now also strikes nearby enemies for 90/80% of damage dealt. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.
- Lead From the Front – Beast Mastery: Casting Bestial Wrath grants Howl of the Pack Leader and increases the damage dealt by your Beasts by 25% and your pets by 30% for 12 sec. Survival: Casting Coordinated Assault grants Howl of the Pack Leader and increases the damage dealt by your Beasts by 25% and your pet by 30/25% for 12 sec.
Mage
- Blizzard – Ice shards pelt the target area, dealing [(18/16.2% of Spell power) * 8] Frost damage over 12 sec and reducing movement speed by 50% for 3 sec.
- Isothermic Core – Comet Storm now also calls down a Meteor at 150% effectiveness onto your target’s location.Meteor now also calls down a Comet Storm at 200/250% effectiveness onto your target location.
Monk
- Mana Tea – For every 0 Mana you spend, you gain 1 stack of Mana Tea, with a chance equal to your critical strike chance to generate 1 extra stack.Mana Tea:Consumes 1 stack of Mana Tea per 0.5 sec to restore 52500/44625 Mana and reduces the Mana cost of your spells by 30% for 1.00 sec per stack of Mana Tea consumed after drinking.Can be cast while moving, but movement speed is reduced by 40% while channeling.
- Jade Bond – Chi Cocoons now apply Enveloping Mist for 4 sec when they expire or are consumed, and Chi-Ji’s Gusts of Mists healing is increased by 40/20% and Yu’lon’s Soothing Breath healing is increased by 500%.
- Chi Surge – Triggering a bonus attack from Press the Advantage or casting Weapons of Order releases a surge of chi at your target’s location, dealing Nature damage split evenly between all targets over 8 sec. Press the Advantage:Deals [(.9 * 5 * Attack power * (1 + Versatility) * 1.15/1.32) * abs50 / 100] Nature damage. Weapons of Order:Deals [.9 * 5 * Attack power * (1 + Versatility) * 1.15/1.32] Nature damage and reduces the cooldown of Weapons of Order by 4 for each affected enemy, to a maximum of 20 sec.
- Rushing Wind Kick – Mistweaver (Mistweaver Monk)Kick up a powerful gust of wind, dealing (359.5% of Attack power) Nature damage in a 25 yd cone to enemies in front of you, split evenly among them. Damage is increased by 6% for each target hit, up to 30%.Grants Rushing Winds for 6/4 sec, increasing Renewing Mist’s healing by 100/150%.Kick up a powerful gust of wind, dealing (359.5% of Attack power) Nature damage in a 25 yd cone to enemies in front of you, split evenly among them. Damage is increased by 6% for each target hit, up to 30%.Grants Rushing Winds for 4 sec, increasing Renewing Mist’s healing by 100/150%.
Paladin
- Faith’s Armor – Protection: Shield of the Righteous grants 20/5% bonus armor for 4.5 sec. Holy, Retribution: Word of Glory grants 20% bonus armor for 4.5 sec.
- Divine Guidance – Holy: For each Holy Power ability cast, your next Consecration deals [(Spell power * 30 / 10) * (1 + Versatility) * 1] damage or healing immediately, split across all enemies and allies. Protection: For each Holy Power ability cast, your next Consecration deals [(Spell power * 30 / 10) * (1 + Versatility) * 1.34/1.54] damage or healing immediately, split across all enemies and allies.
Shaman
- Windfury Weapon – Imbue your main-hand weapon with the element of Wind for 1 hour. Each main-hand attack has a 25% chance to trigger [Unruly Winds: three / two] extra attacks, dealing (31.05/27.945% of Attack power)% Physical damage each.[Forceful Winds: Windfury causes each successive Windfury attack within 15 sec to increase the damage of Windfury by 15%, stacking up to 5 times]
- Ashen Catalyst – Each time Flame Shock deals periodic damage, it increases the damage of your next Lava Lash by 12/8% up to 96/64%, and reduces the cooldown of your Lava Lash by 0.5 sec.
- Pulse Capacitor – Enhancement: Increases the damage of Surging Totem by 25/18%. Restoration: Increases the healing done by Surging Totem by 25%.
Warlock
- Secrets of the Coven – Destruction: Mother of Chaos empowers your next Incinerate to become Infernal Bolt. Infernal BoltHurl a bolt enveloped in the infernal flames of the abyss, dealing (347.703% of Spell power) Fire damage to your enemy target and generating 3/2 Soul Shards. Demonology: Mother of Chaos empowers your next Shadow Bolt to become Infernal Bolt. Infernal BoltHurl a bolt enveloped in the infernal flames of the abyss, dealing (347.703% of Spell power) Fire damage to your enemy target and generating 3 Soul Shards.
Warrior
- Overpower – Overpower the enemy, dealing (243.443/292.132% of Attack power) Physical damage. Cannot be blocked, dodged, or parried.[Martial Prowess: Increases the damage of your next Mortal Strike or Cleave by 15%, stacking up to 1 times][Increases the damage of your next Mortal Strike by 15%, stacking up to 1 times][Improved Overpower: Generates [(243.443/292.132% of Attack power) / 10] Rage.]
- Mortal Strike – A vicious strike that deals (483.743/580.492% of Attack power) Physical damage and reduces the effectiveness of healing on the target by 50% for 10 sec.
- Whirlwind – Unleashes a whirlwind of steel, striking all nearby enemies for [(13.35/17.355% of Attack power) + (13.35/17.355% of Attack power) + (2 * ((13.35/17.355% of Attack power) + (13.35/17.355% of Attack power)))] Physical damage. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.[Improved Whirlwind: Causes your next 2 single-target melee attacks to strike up to 4 additional targets for 55% damage][Generates 3 Rage, plus an additional 1 per target hit.]
- Dreadnaught – Overpower causes a seismic wave, dealing (41.6782/50.0138% of Attack power) damage to all enemies in a 10 yd line. Deals reduced damage beyond 5 targets.
- Onslaught – Brutally attack an enemy for (318.36/413.868% of Attack power) Physical damage[Tenderize: and become Enraged for 4 sec / .]Generates 30 Rage.
- Practiced Strikes – Arms: Mortal Strike and Cleave damage increased by 15/20%. Protection: Shield Slam and Revenge damage increased by 20%.Shield Slam generates an additional 3 Rage.
- Demolish – Unleash a series of precise and powerful strikes against your target, dealing [(256.148/332.992% of Attack power) + (256.148/332.992% of Attack power) + (742.456/965.193% of Attack power)] damage to it, and (742.456/965.193% of Attack power) damage to enemies within 8 yds of it. Deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets.While channeling Demolish, you take 10% less damage and are immune to stuns, knockbacks, and forced movement effects.You can block, parry, dodge, and use certain defensive abilities while channeling Demolish.
- Strength of the Mountain – Fury: Shield Slam damage increased by 10%.Bloodthirst and Rampage damage increased by 30/25%. Protection: Shield Slam damage increased by 10%.Demoralizing Shout reduces damage enemies deal to you by an additional 5%.
- Opportunist – Arms: When Overpower has its cooldown reset by Tactician, your next Overpower deals 20/25% additional damage and 20/25% additional critical damage. Fury: When Raging Blow resets its own cooldown, your next Raging Blow deals 20% additional damage and 20% additional critical damage.
