Blizzard has officially begun internal testing of The War Within’s second and final major content patch. A new encrypted build, 11.2.0.59403, was recently added to the WoW Vendor 6 (wowv6) development branch, signaling the early stages of testing.
What’s in Patch 11.2?
The 11.2 build is encrypted, meaning we can’t datamine it. However, based on the 2025 roadmap for modern WoW, Patch 11.2 is expected to launch in Summer 2025 and will likely include:
- A new zone, similar to Undermine in Patch 11.1
- World events tied to the new area
- The final raid of the expansion
- Warband system updates
- Brewfest updates
- Season 3 rewards refresh
Future Updates
Blizzard has already updated the Battle.net dropdown with Patch 11.1.5, meaning this minor patch should hit the PTR soon.
