Patch 12.0.7 hits live servers next week, with plenty of headline features such as the Omnium Folio, Heroic World Tier, and WoW’s first Mythic Flex raid: Sporefall. However, one of the biggest updates might not be immediately obvious.
A Patch That Respects Your Time
12.0.7 is bringing some big changes when it comes to quest XP. Completing Delver’s Call quests, Midnight dungeon quests, Prey quests, and weekly Renown quests will all offer increased experience gains—in some cases up to 8x more than currently offered in 12.0.5!
Quests
- Significantly increased the amount of experience earned from completing the following types of Midnight quests: 1st time delves (Delver’s Call), Midnight dungeon quests, Prey, and weekly Renown activities.
This is a great change in its own right, but when you pair it with Turbulent Timeways, 12.0.7 becomes an insane alt levelling opportunity.
The Turbulent Timeways event runs from 20th June to 11th August. Completing Timewalking dungeons during this event grants the 
Knowledge of Timeways buff, increasing experience gained from killing monsters and completing quests by 5%, and stacking up to 30%.
If you’ve been putting off levelling those last few alts, Patch 12.0.7 is going to make the grind much less painful!
