The current Dracthyr Dragon Form running animation isn’t quite attracting many fans, with people preferring to use Visage form instead. Kungvald falls into the category of not really being a fan, so they decided to create a different running animation. They say it’s for fun as much as the feeling of the current animation being too goofy.

The community’s feedback is largely positive, with many voicing their, often hilarious, concerns about the current running animation. Maybe Blizzard just wanted a doze of slapstick comedy in the Dracthyr’s prancing?
The new animation also prompted some thoughts about the overall goofiness of general character running animations in WoW. The Undead would have something to say about this.
Kungvald’s new animation definitely feels like a more solid and weighty one, but could probably use a bit more tweaking. And the community was quick to provide what tweaking it needs, and how it could be further improved. What are your thoughts on it?
