We’re getting into some pretty specific speedrunning situations here. A player decided to see how long it would take them to get KSM from scratch!
Mputnam2411 recently shared an interesting (and mildly ridiculous) achievement: leveling from 10 to 80, which can take a while in and of itself, and earning 
The War Within Keystone Master: Season One achievement in under 20 hours /played. And if that wasn’t interesting enough for you, the gear setup that resulted in was hilariously mismatched. Rocking some ilvl 350 shoulders with an item level 574 average! Who needs gear when you have sheer determination (and a generous friend)?
They quickly gained traction in the comments, with players both impressed and suspicious about how this was accomplished. So how did it get done with such a low item level? Well, the secret is you just need a tank buddy. With the insane drought of tanks and healers, having an also freshly leveled Prot Paladin or two, and mputnam2411‘s own Disc Priest, makes it pretty easy to get the other 3 DPS in from the Group Finder. The Paladins presumably also had a higher item level or those +7s would have been real tricky!
While nothing in the thread claims this was entirely self-made, it still sparked some pretty aggro but also funny reactions:
So if you have a buddy brave enough to tank some Mythic+ starting with a hilariously low item level, or if you dare do it yourself, KSM isn’t really that hard!
