It seems a lot of players are sleeping on their various unlocked mounts in various reputations, as the Missing Mounts site grabbed some fascinating stats!
The Tool
We’ve already covered the excellent Missing Mounts tool that tracks your reputation with factions and allows you to easily check which mounts you’ve unlocked but not grabbed yet. It already had great tracking features sorted by expansions, and even leaderboards to see your standing for the possible bragging rights.
Onnoz made a few awesome updates in the meantime and gave the tool a UI facelift. Possibly the biggest update is the Warband scanning. It allows you to easily log in through Battle.net, and scan all your characters for any missing reputation mounts. And if you’re worried about the login, it’s the official Blizzard API fetching your information as read-only.
The Stats
It’s quite interesting as Onnoz made their own research, and it turns out many of us are forgetting plenty of available mounts. The average number of forgotten mounts is 9, and the record holder is a whooping 72. So shove your characters through the scanner, and bring some joy to all the sad forgotten mounts by taking them to your stables.
The Updates
A great overview tab has also been added allowing you to visually scroll through all the mounts sorted by category. There’s also an achievement tracker for the mounts collection implemented, and the upcoming Drops – Weeklies tab.
And once the Warband scanning is complete, you’ll find plenty of missing mounts!
Even though Onnoz says they’re running out of inspiration, it seems not all of it has abandoned them. They’re also asking players for feedback and what they’d like to see added. If you’re feeling inspired, share some thoughts and help shape the future of the tool.
