Puzzling Cartel Chips Possibly Scrapped? Blizzard Silent Ahead of Patch 11.1.5

As anticipation builds for Patch 11.1.5, one question is dominating all discussions: Where are the Puzzling Cartel Chip iconPuzzling Cartel Chips?

Blizzard just released a new video hosted by Naguura, highlighting everything planned for Patch 11.1.5. But surprisingly, there’s no mention of the puzzling cartel chips—despite Blizzard specifically telling Naguura in an earlier developer interview that the chips would be part of this patch.

One of the Hottest Topics Right Now

Puzzling Cartel Chips, also referred to as dinars, are currently one of the most discussed topic in the WoW community. They were expected to return as a catch-up currency, helping players buy specific gear pieces from the Liberation of Undermine raid.

Their sudden absence from both the development notes and the video preview above has players wondering whether the system was quietly delayed or outright scrapped.

What Happened to the Chips?

Initially tied to the Gallagio Royalty Rewards Club, the chips were removed from the Renown track in Patch 11.1. But Game Director Ion Hazzikostas later reassured players in an interview that the feature would go live in Patch 11.1.5.

Now with less than a week until Patch 11.1.5 release, that confirmation appears to be in limbo.
