Farious7678 has reached 3,500 kills while grinding for the 
Reins of the Infinite Timereaver during the Timewalking celebration. While farming, they found a productive way to spend their queue times -searching for the elusive 
Voidtalon of the Dark Star portal! Let’s dive into just how rare these amazing mounts are and how their incredible journey unfolded.
How Rare is the Timereaver?
Farious7678 reports an incredible 3,500 boss kills in their Timewalking dungeon grind. For those who might not know, the Reins of the Infinite Timereaver has an extremely low drop rate of 0.025% (or 1 in 4,000) and is only obtainable during Timewalking events. So, 500 more kills to go?
So, after 3,500 kills, surely they’d have it by now, right? Well, not quite. RNG can be merciless. They’re close to the statistical drop threshold but still waiting for luck to favor them. Hopefully, it won’t take much longer – they need some serious returning player luck!

How to Obtain the Voidtalon?
Voidtalon is a mount that can be obtained in the Draenor region by clicking an Edge of Reality portal, which randomly spawns across Shadowmoon Valley, Spires of Arak, Talador, Nagrand, Frostfire Ridge, and Gorgrond. The portal is not always active, spawning only one at a time per region and remaining available for just 15 minutes. Once it despawns, it won’t reappear for another 2–8 hours. If a player claims the portal, it won’t be active again for 7–48 hours.
Realistically, this means a lot of time spent searching for one. However, if you manage to find it, simply click on the portal to be teleported to your reward, where you can claim the Voidtalon Egg. Be prepared to spend a significant amount of time grinding, although some lucky players may find it much faster!
