Rextroy is back with another bug, and this time, he’s pushing the limits lower than ever before.
Known for taking down max-level players with under-leveled characters, he previously released one-shots using a Level 27 Rogue and a Level 20 Mage. But his latest stunt breaks new ground: defeating Level 80 players with a freshly created Level 1 Undead character!
In his latest video, Rextroy reveals the key behind the absurd power: the Undear racial ability, Touch of the Grave. While this passive normally deals minor damage and heals the user, something in the scaling calculation went terribly wrong.
The Bugged Scaling Behind the Crazy One-Shot
When a Level 1 Undead attacks a Level 80 opponent, the ability visually shows damage numbers of around 4-5 on the player’s screen. However, on the victim’s end, the damage calculation skyrockets, registering over 100K damage instantly.
Rextroy discovered this during his testing, alongside his earlier Mage one-shot. The core issue? The ability scales incorrectly when hitting much higher-level targets, causing Touch of the Grave to become a deadly weapon in the hands of a Level 1 player.
The Game-Breaking Combo: Trinkets and Multipliers
To make things even more devastating, Rextroy paired this bug with the Cinderbrew Stein trinket. This item, previously used in his other one-shots, amplifies daming by up to 200 times. As a result, the already broken 100k damage jumps to a mind-blowing 20 million!
