How to Bug Works
This solo came into existence thanks to the 
Foul Behemoth’s Chelicera trinket from Nerub-ar Palace. It was previously used by Venn to 2-hit raid bosses for 500 million damage.
Before Liberation of Undermine, this wasn’t abusable because there was no easy way to get the endless health stacking done inside the raid. But now, Blizzard has added the NPC Globkikus, which constantly heals itself with Reglobify, which means the NPC can be used as a Training Dummy!
Rextroy also clarifies he used some Priest healing bonuses, Guardian Spirits, Divine Hymn and Death Knight’s Vampiric Blood to make the stacking of 250-300 million health take 4 hours. With this strategy, Rextroy amassed 70 million max health per hour.
The reason Rextroy went for Rik Reverb was because he could calculate his DPS with the 
Hype Fever! berserk. It would cause his 
Blaring Drop to deal about 70-80 million damage per use. Most other bosses have annoying tank stacking debuffs that would maybe destroy the group after a while, which was not a risk Rextroy was willing to take.
Rextroy was surprised that Rik didn’t keep spamming Blaring Drops. He actually melee hits in between, which was an issue due to the tank debuff.
Fortunately, Rextroy developed a kiting strategy that makes the tank debuff go off by a very thin margin. It’s also good that 
Tinnitus does not increase all Sonic damage taken by 100%. It didn’t increase Blaring Drops, otherwise, Rextroy would’ve been one-shot.
The Gear
It took Rextroy under 2 hours to beat the boss. He was equipped with just Item Level 606 gear from the Auction House.
