Digging through trash is really what we’ve always done in one way or another, but it hasn’t been quite as literal as it is in 11.1. In Undermine we’re really getting in there, but there’s always better ways to explore trash, and the community has found them!
Why Though? (Two Mounts)
We have two players sharing their tips for getting that bar to 500 efficiently. But first, why would you want that other than the general event completion? Well, at 500 Trash Shoveled, there’s a chance for a rare to spawn. This is a particularly fancy rare, the Gallagio Garbage, as it has its own achievement 
Can You Believe What People Throw Away?, and it drops a whole lot of stuff, including the 
Salvaged Goblin Gazillionaire’s Flying Machine. There’s also G-99 parts and some gear from it.
You can also get a mystery box for the currency gained through the event, which can contain the 
Personalized Goblin S.C.R.A.Per mount!
Top of the Pile
While the event is very frequent and all over the place, it can go wrong as the timer is pretty quick. So here’s a quick overview of the tips Tepid-doughnut and ecco5 shared with the community:
- Shoveling has a pretty long range.
- You should always wait for more players before starting the event. It is theoretically possible with two, but you always want more.
- The blue zone that gives you a shoveling speed buff doesn’t stack and lasts 1 minute. Don’t take it if you have more than 20 seconds on your buff.
- You just need to run through fires to put them out, while you need to click on bombs and bags. You have to take care of them first or no one can shovel.
- You can be in combat and be attacked by mobs and still shovel.
- Use the S.C.R.A.P. robot near the pile for 100 gold and he’ll also shovel.
- You can buy
Kaja’Cola X-Treme at Cartel Rank 7. Use it after you start shoveling. It doesn’t stack with the blue zone buff.
Friedumpling689 also added a few tips, like standing on the red rusted fire barrel to avoid green zone damage.
