The data used in this article comes from Raider.IO, taking into account all Mythic+ runs across all levels of play. The sample size consists of 17,633,654 runs this season.
Most Popular DPS Specs in Mythic+
With over 17.6 million Mythic+ runs logged so far in Season 2 of The War Within, we’re getting a clear picture of which DPS specs players are favoring and which ones are falling behind!
Retribution Paladin stands out as the top choice for DPS in Mythic+ this season, representing 14% of all runs. This is a significant lead over the next most popular spec, Beast Mastery Hunter, which comes in at 8.8%. Fire Mage holds third place at 7.1%. Balance Druid is fourth with 6.4% and Havoc Demon Hunter is at 5.5%, rounding up to the top five!
Both Shaman DPS specs (Enhancement and Elemental) are neck-and-neck, each holding 5.4% of all M+ runs. At the bottom of the list, several specs are seeing very little play. This includes Outlaw Rogue and Affliction Warlock tied at just 0.8%, Arcane Mage sitting even lower at 0.6%, and Augmentation Evoker at only 0.1%.
