Most Popular Tanks in Mythic+
The sample size for tank popularity is 6,391,702 runs so far in the ongoing season.
Vengeance Demon Hunter is the top pick, used in nearly 3 out of every 10 runs. Protection Paladin is close behind, showing strong popularity with over a quarter of total runs. Blood Death Knight shows a significant drop from he top two but still a solid third choice! Protection Warrior is slightly behind, holding a mid-tier spot.
Guardian Druid is less commonly used, making up less than 1 in 10 runs. The least popular tank is Brewmaster Monk, appearing in only about 1 in 20 runs.

Most Popular Healers in Mythic+
The sample size for healer popularity is 6,390,731 runs so far in Season 2. Discipline Priest is the clear frontrunner, topping the list with 29.4% popularity. Mistweaver Monk is a solid second, taking up 1 in every 5 runs (20.2%). Nearly tied with Mistweaver is Restoration Shaman, very close in usage. In fourth place we have Restoration Druid at 15.6% popularity.
We see a significant drop in popularity with Holy Paladin at 6.2%. Holy Priest sits just behind Holy Paladin at 6.1%.
The least popular healer is traditionally Preservation Evoker, appearing in fewer than 3 out of 100 runs!
