The Mystical Origin of Beledar Uncovered: A Revelation from Azeroth’s Past!

This week’s Archives: Seeking History uncovers an astonishing revelation about the origin of the mysterious Hallowfall crystal—Beledar!

What’s Beledar?

Initially thought to be the tip of Sargeras’ sword or a crashed Naaru vessel, Beledar has been revealed as something much more. According to Archaedas from this week’s quest, the Coreway in Dornogal was a direct channel to the Heart of Azeroth. However, as the Titans delved deeper, they encountered gigantic crystals—calcified chunks of the Worldsoul’s Essence. These are of immense power, scattered across Azeroth, waiting to be discovered.

The revelation? Beledar is a manifestation of Azeroth’s Worldsoul itself. This means that hidden within Azeroth’s ground, lie pieces of unimaginable power—Beledar being one of the most significant ever found.

The Dark Transformation: Why Does Beledar Turn to Void?

During the level-up campaign, it was revealed that Beledar’s first transformation into the Void happened when Sargeras’ sword struck Azeroth. This corrupted the crystal, setting off a dark chain of events. The Void energy is believed to be a direct result of Azeroth’s ongoing poisoning by Sargeras’ blade—a wound we attempted to heal by sacrificing our Artifact Weapons in Legion.

The Khaz Algar Mural: Clues to a Greater Mystery

For the keen-eyed lore-seekers, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard whispers about Beledar. The ancient Khaz Algar mural in Azj-Kahet depicts the crystal, and it seems Xal’atath herself wants to get ahold of its power!
