In the War Within Season 2, a new surprise encounter awaits during your delve runs. Similar to Zekvir from Season 1, The Underpin has a small chance to invade your delve, at any time. However, unlike Zekvir, this encounter is less chaotic and more manageable in open areas.
Defeating The Underpin comes with rewards! Players will earn a 
Delver’s Bounty that guarantees that you’ll find a Hidden Trove at the end of your current or next Tier 4+ delve. In addition to that, there’s a chance for him to also drop gear. For instance, we encountered him during a Tier 6 rift and he dropped an epic version of the 
Noggenfogger Ultimate Deluxe trinket (Item Level 626 Veteran 2/8).
