This year’s Midsummer Fire Festival runs from 21st June to 5th July, and there are plenty of new rewards you don’t want to miss! Here’s everything new coming to the holiday in 2026.
Illusion: Summer Sun Blossom
The 12.0.7 PTR has added a new Illusion, 
Illusion: Summer Sun Blossom. Though the source is currently unclear, the theme is very fitting of the Midsummer Fire Festival, and we expect it to be available as part of the event.
The illusion features flowers swirling around the hilt, with blue and orange petals and flames extending down the blade. Thanks to iamShorteh for the preview video:
Sun Festival’s Painted Roc
The 
Sun Festival’s Painted Roc is a new mount that will drop from Ahune, the event’s frost lord dungeon boss.
Sun Festival’s Painted Armour
The Midsummer Fire Festival also brings a new transmog set! The name of the armour pieces confirm a link to the Midsummer Fire Festival, however, their source is currently unknown. There is a chance these items could be intended for the Trading Post.
