You’ve seen them around, those crazy level 10ish characters that just run through an entire dungeon destroying everything in their path and making Timewalking a complete breeze. What you may not have seen is that plenty of them actually stick around with the group they get paired with and just blast through many dungeons, leveling everyone else up!
Scaling and Good Gear Are Quite the Combo
Albrion stumbled upon a level 11 Fury Warrior, who apparently loves helping people level up. With damage numbers higher than two or three times everyone else combined, and a heart big enough to carry the whole party, the Warrior wasn’t just tanking – he was time-bending.
When Albrion found him, he was level 74. In about an hour, he reached level 80. The incredible thing was that the player one-shoted almost everything and dealt 95% of all the damage. Players who hit level 80 were swapped out for new players, and the Warrior continued boosting them as well. And, of course, the Warrior’s level was locked so the damage could stay crazy all the time! It was Mists of Pandaria Remix all over again!
Another player mentions that many players are using this method with Fury Warriors because they are easy to gear up and, with scaling, become incredibly powerful.
The Timewalking XP Heroes
There’s plenty more where that Warrior came from too, as Fury seems to be the new Timewalking leveling specialist! Well, for other players anyway. Speed enchants, Rocket Boots, gems, and much more, just queuing Timewalking all day long. They really are the unsung heroes! Well, ok, so now we sung them.
Their performance even led to some questioning if their damage is a result of some foul play!
Here’s a look at how it’s done:
So if you’re looking for some really relaxed leveling while the Anniversary event is going on, go queue Timewalking and hope for a low level Fury Warrior!
