Afraid to lead normal raids? With these simple strategies and quick tips, you can guide your group like a seasoned leader—no prior experience required!

Raid leading doesn’t have to be overwhelming. While many players avoid it, following these easy steps will give you the confidence to take charge. Say goodbye to long queues and start leading your own successful raid group today!

Know the Boss Fights

Before jumping in, make sure to watch quick 2-minute videos of all the boss encounters like the ones by Ready Check Pull. It’s very important to have an idea of what to expect from the bosses!

Picking Your Raid Members: Go for Experience

Since you’re new to leading, ensure that you only invite experienced players with high item levels. This reduces the need for explanations and helps avoid unnecessay weipes.

Why DPS is Your Best Bet (Don’t Tank!)

Being a DPS makes things smoother, especially for first-time raid leaders. Avoid tanking at all costs unless you are very confident.

Efficient Raid Movement is Key

It is very important to keep players engaged and the raid is moving quickly. Use ready checks often and don’t waste precious time between pulls, especially after wipes.

How to Handle Wipes and Keep the Group Motivated

If the raid wipes, act fast! Reset, do a /readycheck within 30 seconds, and pull again. Keep it moving, and you’ll keep your group intact!

Nerub-ar Palace Copy-Paste Boss Strategies

Here are some easy copy-paste strategies you can use while leading your Nerub-ar Palace raid group. Courtesy of Local_Anything191.

  • 1st boss: Do a quick /readycheck, then /pull 10. The first boss is freebie.
  • 2nd boss: Place 2 markers on the inner platforms, assign tanks, split ground, and go.
  • 3rd boss: Use one marker and tell everyone to move clockwise. /readycheck and /pull 10.
  • 4th boss: Do a /readycheck and /pull 10. If players fail the poison wave mechanic, give them one more chance before replacing them.
  • 5th boss (Big Worm Guy) – Place a marker at the far side, do a /readycheck and /pull 10. If someone fails to break the egg when debuffed, give them one more try before replacing them.
  • 6th boss – Mark each point of the hexagon, then /readycheck and /pull 10.
  • 7th boss – Ask “Who’s doing tethers?” Assign 2 players (ranged DPS preferably). After each wipe, assign new tether players as needed. Make sure Swarm debuffs are dispelled in the center during phase 2.
  • 8th boss – Place markers on the opposite ends of the platform, split groups like during the second boss, then pull.

Wrapping Up: Easy Loot for Minimal Effort

By the time you reach the final boss, your group will be cruising! The 8th boss on normal difficulty is basically free loot, so it’s important to stick to your plan!
