Turbulent Timeways starts on live servers today! Discover everything you need to know about the event including the mounts and achievements you can unlock on your way, in our guide!
Introduction
Turbulent Timeways is a limited-time Timewalking event spanning 7 weeks (from January 7 through February 25). During the event, the Timewalking weekly quest in Dornogal will award players with a cache containing Hero track Nerub-ar Palace gear (item level 610-626). On top of that, you can unlock a new achievement and a mount.
Sandy Shalewing from the previous Turbulent Timeways event has returned.
Blizzard also added new mounts to existing Timewalking vendors that you can buy with Timewarped Badges. You will find the exact mount rotation below.
What’s New This Year?
This year, players can earn the 
Master of the Turbulent Timeways II achievement that rewards the 
Timely Buzzbee mount. Here’s what the mount looks like in the game.
How to Earn the Timely Buzzbee?
To receive the achievement and mount, you need to earn the 
Mastery of Timeways buff for 5 weeks during the Turbulent Timeways event.
- Every time you queue up and clear a Timewalking dungeon during Turbulent Timeways, your character will receive 1 stack of
Knowledge of Timeways. - When you clear 4 Timewalking dungeons per week and receive 4 stacks, you will earn the Mastery of Timeways buff for that week.
- You need to repeat this 5 times to get the Master of the Turbulent Timeways II achievement.
TL;DR: To get the mount, you must complete 4 dungeons per week for 5 weeks. The Mastery of Timeways buff increases Experience gains from monster kills and quests by 30% for 3 hours. Completing Timewalking dungeons refreshes the buff.
Sandy Shalewing Returns!
Sandy Shalewing, the mount reward available from the last Turbulent Timewalking event and the 
Master of the Turbulent Timeways achievement, can be purchased from any Timewalking vendor for 5,000 Timewarped Badges. Go get it if you have not added it to your collection yet!
Turbulent Timeways Mount Rotation
Blizzard added new mounts to select Timewalking vendors in Patch 11.0.7 that you can purchase for 5,000 Timewarped Badges each when that expansion’s Timewalking event is available. Here is a list of them all.
Week of January 7: Mists of Pandaria Timewalking
Copper-Maned Quilen Reins can be purchased from Mistweaver Xia on Timeless Isle.
Week of January 14: Warlords of Draenor Timewalking
You can buy 
Nightfall Skyreaver’s Reins from Kronnus at Warspear or Tempra at Stormshield when WoD Timewalking is up.
Week of January 21: Legion Timewalking
During Legion Timewalking, players can purchase 
Ur’zul Fleshripper Bridle, a 
Shackled Ur’zul recolor, from Aridormi in Dalaran (Broken Shore).
Week of January 28: Classic Timewalking
You can purchase 
Reins of the Frayfeather Hippogryph from Bobadormu for 5,000 Timewarped Badges at the Caverns of Time entrance. We’re not sure if Blizzard keeps the vendor there when the anniversary event ends, but we’ll keep you posted.
Week of February 4: The Burning Crusade Timewalking
Reins of the Amani Hunting Bear can be bought from Cupri in Shattrah for 5,000 Timewarped Badges.
Week of February 11: Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking
Enchanted Spellweave Carpet is available from Auzin in Dalaran (Crystalsong Forest).
Week of February 18: Cataclysm Timewalking
Finally, you can buy 
Broodling of Sinestra during Cataclysm Timewalking from Kiatke in Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
