The deaf raiding guild Undaunted has just taken down Broodtwister Ovi’nax and Nexus-Princess Ky’veza, pushing them to 6/8 Mythic in Nerub-ar Palace!
This is a massive milestone for the community, as past Mythic progress was often limited to the more “puggable” bosses. But this time, they broke through!
The Team Behind the Victory
This dedicated raid group consists of 18 deaf players, with 2 hearing members who exclusively use text to communicate. The team is led by Fearless, a completely deaf raid leader.
Challenges Without Voice Comms
Ky’veza was a particularly tough boss, requiring every raider to memorize the deadly pattern, a serious challenge without voice comms. It took around 150 pulls to secure the kill, while Ovi’nax fell after about 60 pulls.
Next Challenge: The Silken Court
Progress on Silken Court is already at 83%, and the team is pushing forward harder than ever.
“I haven’t had this much fun with progression raiding since Legion,” said Fearless, the guild’s raid leader.
