We’re back two weeks after the major class tuning pass and we have some more major shifts! Classes buffed in the tuning are moving up and then some. We have two entirely new members of the top 3 and specs making giant leaps up, so let’s dive in without further ado!
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
We have a very interesting situation here two weeks post-tuning! While Enhancement is very much in control still, and in fact even widening its lead considerably, the rest is in complete chaos! We have the buffed classes pushing up massively. Fury grabs three spots and 2nd place, but Frost is the real headline! The Mage moves six spots up and takes 3rd, neck and neck with the Warrior after so much time in the bottom of the rankings! Destruction seems to have won the Warlock war as it comes out ahead, one spot lower than last week to accommodate the newcomers. Survival also had to move one down due to the Fury and Frost of it all.
We then have our second breakthrough story of the week. Retribution also moves a huge six spots up into 6th! Assassination is down one just ahead of Demonology, which finds itself the big loser, dropping six from its amazing 2nd spot last week. Subtlety is also on the moves, two spots up into 9th. Meanwhile, Beast Mastery closes out the top 10 two spots down. The bottom three remain the same, with Fire edging out Windwalker for the final spot that isn’t the incorrectly logged Augmentation.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
We see a very different situation in the generalist bracket – no, not for Enhancement, obviously. But already at No.2 we see a big change, as Survival took out all the Warlocks, and even the newly risen Fury to take the silver! The Warrior remains content in 3rd for now as Destruction reprises its spot from the top percentiles. Assassination is doing better here as well, sandwiched between two Warlocks since Demonology hasn’t fallen off quite as far. Retribution has some resurgence here as well, but it wasn’t as low as in the top charts, so it’s only one spot up in 7th, just ahead of Subtlety. Frost Mage isn’t quite in the dominant position here, three spots up in 8th, but give it some time. It’s unclear whether the spec is similar to Frost DK, in that it only performs well with top players, or if it just needs more time to catch on with a larger player base.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Assassination is still extremely at the top of the single-target charts (ok, ok, and dual target… damn Silken Court). However, we do see Survival moving on up, gaining two spots. Enhancement and Subtlety are also on the way up, followed by Beast Mastery. Arms is the Warrior of the day here, despite it having dropped four spots in 6th. Arcane is the dominant Mage down in 8th. Frost DK, Havoc and Elemental find themselves as the worst direct damage specs in the bottom 3.
Heroic Damage All Percentiles
Assassination takes out Arms in the Heroic rankings, but the two remain very close, as Survival moves past Enhancement for 3rd! Retribution is on the rise here as well, eclipsing Subtlety, while we see an unfamiliar face after that, with Devastation claiming 7th. Fire and Elemental find themselves down in the dumps along with permanent member Augmentation.
U.gg Raw Mythic DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree
We have another strange visitor to the top of the raw DPS charts, as Affliction outclasses everyone else this time around. Arms also makes a move up in 2nd, as both push out the previous No.1, Balance. Beast Mastery loses one spot in 4th while we had to wait all the way until 5th to see the first Enhancement Shaman.
