War Within Patch 11.0.7 Nerub-ar Palace Raid DPS Log Rankings, Week 4: 7/10 Spots in the Top 10 Held by Three Classes

Staff's Avatar by Staff

The number of classes present in the top percentiles top 10 keeps going down! We now have three classes that take up 7 spots, so it’s getting pretty mono-chromatic over there. Survival is the new addition, pushing Hunters into the multi-class club. We’re also looking at the bosses again, to see how much they change week over week, so let’s dive in.

Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Marksmanship is pulling away from Elemental slightly, as its much bigger-than-expected buff to Black Arrow iconBlack Arrow remains intact. The Rogues have all gathered up and are taking up much of the top 10, as Outlaw rises 2 spots to join its fellow yellows. But it’s not just the Rogues and Shamans that are living it up in the top 10, as we have our second Hunter enter as well! Survival makes a huge 6-spot jump into 7th, pushing Frost Mage aside and landing after the sea of yellow. Destruction takes down arms for 9th and the Warrior closes out the top 10, just ahead of Havoc.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

The generalist bracket is extremely stable this week, as we have to go down all the way to No.9 to see any changes. Devastation moves into the top 10 and gains 4 spots, as it bumps Frost Mage down to 10th. Balance drops down into the bottom 3, giving Demonology a breather.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

The boss damage charts are even more stable, as we have to go right outside the top 10 to see any changes, where Retribution gets pushed out by two Warlocks and Survival.

Individual Bosses

We’re staying with the bosses this week to see just how much they fluctuate each reset. We still see three Hunters in the top 10 on Ky’veza, but Survival is dropping down 3 spots, as Enhancement gains one. Meanwhile, in the court, we see Fire take down Shadow for 3rd, Assassination drop quite a bit, and Frost DK fall 5 spots right out of the top 10. As for Ansurek, we can see where Survival got its boost from, as it’s sitting right at the top, having gained 3 spots since the previous week. Elemental also makes a big comeback.

We see Arms lose its top spot in Heroic, dropping 3 and letting Assassination have its day. Enhancement takes down Marksmanship and Subtlety Survival

The Hellcallers still reign supreme here, while Fury takes back 3rd from Balance. Marksmanship is actually dropping down a few spots, as Unholy and Assassination push it down.
