War Within Patch 11.0.7 Nerub-ar Palace Raid DPS Log Rankings, Week 6

Staff's Avatar by Staff

Another week passes and more spots lost for Marksmanship. The Hunter is holding up very well, however, despite the big nerf/fix. Things are moving all over the place so let’s see what’s changed.

Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Mythic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

We still only have 6 classes in the top 10! Enhancement is slowly inching up to its fellow Shaman at the top, while Marksmanship continues to slide down after its nerf/fix, but very slowly as it only loses one spot to Assassination! Havoc makes its move and gains two spots, taking Frost Mage down as Destruction falls out of the top 10. Arms also benefits from the Warlock’s drop and closes out the top 10. Retribution is just outside and looking in, as Fire also moves up thanks to Destruction’s 4-spot fall.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

Marksmanship also only drops one spot here, with Fire taking its 5th spot. Destruction remains stable, unlike in the top percentiles, as it holds on to 8th. Outlaw bursts back up, gaining 3 spots in 9th and pushing Arms down to 10th.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

We’re seeing more what we expected to happen here than in the other charts, as Marksmanship drops a lot more, losing 3 spots down in 5th. And while one Hunter goes down, another rises up, with Beast Mastery taking down Arms for 6th.

Individual Bosses

Let’s take some detailed looks at the final three bosses as well. Princess sees Assassination topple Survival, as the two specs fight for the No.1 spot. Things are stable in the court, with Fire moving up a little in 4th. Meanwhile, the Queen has had a massive shift to yellow, as Outlaw and Assassination take over, bursting up from the middle of the pack to dominate things.

Heroic Damage All Percentiles

Arms finally pushes through to the top, as Enhancement drops two spots and lets Assassination pass as well. Marksmanship barely holds on to the top 10, but it wasn’t doing as well as in Mythic even before the nerfs, as it only loses 3 spots.

It’s still double Warlock on top, but we do see Arms push up into 3rd, coming out of nowhere.
