It’s been a week since Mythic+ launched in the War Within, so it’s finally time to take a look at some solid stats! Things have changed since our preliminary check-in, and we’re also taking a look at the raw DPS and Hero talent rankings from u.gg as well!
Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
95th percentile DPS
Things have changed since our day 1 look, as Augmentation is right back at the top where we’ve seen it pretty much since its inception, being the must-have that it is in 5-man content. Frost DK is surging, 4 spots up from Day 1 and sitting pretty in 2nd. Balance is also on the rise, with Assassination bursting from the middle of the pack right into 4th. Arcane is up as well, while Enhancement drops a little, as Subtlety and Outlaw make it all three Rogue specs firmly in the top 10. Havoc and Devastation claim the final two spots. Meanwhile, down at the bottom, we see not one but two Hunters, joined by Arms in almost the opposite situation from the raid, especially for BM.
All Percentiles
We see a similar situation in the generalist bracket, but Assassination is doing even better here, claiming 3rd. Arcane and Outlaw are also considerably higher, pushing Balance down into 6th. Affliction makes an unexpected appearance in 7th, as does Unholy at the bottom of the top 10. Survival manages to make it out of the bottom 3, as Fire and Frost showcase why they really needed this week’s tuning buffs.
U.gg Raw DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree
Then we’re on to the pure DPS rankings, and the Hero trees! DKs are at the top, with Unholy actually sitting in No1., as Outlaw and Elemental are also doing great. Paladin shows up in the top 10 as well, with the rest being similar to the rankings above, as it’s only spots 1 and 4 that are the big exceptions.
