We have some big tuning aftermath to check out, as well as the exploit and talent bug shenanigans. Mythic+ wasn’t as harshly affected by the Outlaw exploit nor the Elemental talent bug as the raid was. We do still see the Rogue at the very top of the high keys, as it’s going to take a few more days for the exploit to be washed out of the system. There have been many more legitimate changes due to the tuning, however, so let’s dive in.
Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
95th percentile DPS
Nothing is ever going to dislodge Augmentation from the very top it seems, as it pulls ahead of Frost DK even more. We see Enhancement move up a whole lot, 7 spots in fact, right out of 10th into 3rd, swooping past Assassination. Unholy remains steady in 5th. Elemental had some bugged out help with the talent that was nerfed, so its No.6. spot is also in question, but it remained steady compared to last week.
At No.7 we have the spec of the week, or rather the cheater of the week. We can’t really know how much the exploit is affecting its standing now. But considering it was sitting at No.3 as late as yesterday, it was definitely enough to move it up quite a bit, as we’ll see in the higher key runs. Either way, it’s currently 7 spots up from last week. Balance drops 4 spots in 8th, while Survival makes a big 7-spot move into 9th. Frost Mage finally makes an appearance in the top 10, with all the patch changes helping it a lot it seems! Devastation joins BM and Arms at the very bottom of the chart.
All Percentiles
Enhancement makes a giant stride up from last week, gaining 9 spots in 3rd, pushing Assassination down. Unholy remains steady thanks to Affliction’s fall. Survival bursts upwards, winning the most improved badge with its 8 spot leap! Balance remains steady as Elemental may still be slightly benefiting from the bug down in 8th. Fire is actually still holding on in 9th here. Retribution closes out the top 10 with Affliction just outside, dropping a whopping 7 spots.
High Keys and the Outlaw Exploit
The high key stats are still recovering from the Outlaw exploit and the Elemental talent bug. Below we have +16s, then 14s and 13s, with Outlaw on top of pretty much all high keys, with the exception of +15 for some reason. It seems it’ll take a while for the exploit to be purged from the system. Specifically more than 7 days from when it was hotfixed.
U.gg Raw DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree
Outlaw is still the exploit king here it seems, as the raw DPS data is keeping it afloat! Enhancement seems like a realistic No.1, now sandwiched between two cheaters! Interestingly we see another Enh down in 4th, which means they’re the top 2 Hero talents when we remove Outlaw. We then have ANOTHER Shaman in 5th/3rd, as Elemental joins the party.
