It’s time to see where the meta is likely to stay for a while, as it’s been a solid amount of time since the last tuning pass and there are no new ones on the horizon. Patch 11.0.7 releases on December 17th and so the below should stay pretty stable until then.
Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, granting only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
95th percentile DPS
The top 4 seems pretty set, as Aug, Frost DK, Enh and Assa keep their grip on the best spots. Balance breaks into the top 5, taking advantage of Unholy’s precipitous drop, followed by Frost Mage which is having a very good week, almost taking the top spot in raids in addition to its upward mobility here! Elemental is the last spec to benefit from Unholy’s 3 spot fall, as Survival is sniffing around right behind the DK. Outlaw gains two spots and closes out the top 10, as both the Rogue and Destruction move past Retribution. The “there must always be an Evoker at the bottom” rule is back this week, as Devastation takes Augmentations spot from raids. We then have two Hunters joining it in the bottom 3 as Arms barely manages to keep out of the group for another week.
All Percentiles
The generalist bracket is now the same as the top percentiles, at least as far as the top 5 is concerned, as Unholy drops off here as well. Frost Mage isn’t doing quite as well here, however, and so we see Survival take 6th, Unholy manage to keep itself one spot higher than in the top percentiles, as it staves off Elemental. Retribution is still int the top 10 here, but just barely.
U.gg Raw DPS Rankings by Hero Talent Tree
Demonology takes over in the Hero tree raw DPS rankings, moving up a huge amount to take down Balance and Enhancement.
Tanks, All Percentiles
Tanks are pretty stable, as ever, but we do see a change at the bottom, as Brewmaster moves to the last spot.
Healers, All Percentiles
Healers are a bit more flexible, as we see a new No.1, with Discipline taking over from Resto Shaman. Holy Pala pushes past Preservation, while Resto Druid and Holy Priest are still at the bottom.
