The fifth week of Season 1 just started on live servers. Check out what’s new and learn more about the important tasks you need to complete to make the most out of your gameplay!
What’s New This Week?
The Wrath Timewalking event is available this week on live servers. You can farm reputation with the Kalu’ak to unlock a Fishing Rod at Exalted that lets you trivialize underwater delves.
Aggregation of Horrors is available in the Ringing Deeps this week. Don’t forget to kill it for a chance at 603 Champion gear.
Darkmoon Faire is ongoing, don’t forget to complete Profession quests for Knowledge and use the 10% XP/reputation buff too!
The third Catalyst charge is available this week on live servers!
What to Focus on This Week?
If you want to get the most out of your Great Vault this week, make sure you switch to your relevant loot specialization and generate loot, but don’t select anything until the day before reset. Run all the content that has a chance to give you the gear you would select from the weekly chest and only open it on the last day before maintenance, so you avoid duplicates.
Go to Dornogal and talk to Archivist Frithrun to pick up the A Frozen Path Through Time quest. Defeat 5 Timewalking raid bosses or clear 5 Timewalking Dungeons to receive 1 
Cache of Nerubian Treasures, containing 1 piece of Champion gear.
You can also run Timewalking Ulduar for Champion gear! The cache should reward Hero gear.
Talk to Faerin Lothar and select one weekly activity. We recommend you pick the one that requires 1 World Boss and 5 Rare Kills since you’re going to kill the boss anyway, and you won’t need to wait for Theater Troupe to become available. This quest will give you a Pinnacle Cache.
Don’t forget that the first two weekly caches each week contain a piece of Veteran gear and the first four weekly caches you earn each week contain a 
Restored Coffer Key.
Talk to Biergoth to pick up the Cinderbrew Meadery dungeon quest for 1,500 reputation with the faction of your choice. This week, the dungeon you must complete is The Rookery. If you don’t want to bother with groups, you can complete a Follower Dungeon that will count toward the quest.
Check if Theater Troupe isn’t available in the zone while you are in Dornogal. If not, head to the Ringing Deeps and kill the World Boss for gold and weekly quest credit.
In the Hallowfall, unlock the Special Assignment by competing 3 World Quests for 1 
Seasoned Adventurer’s Cache.
Complete Spreading the Light‘s main objective and activate 4 Lesser Keyflames to receive a 
Radiant Cache.
Go to The Ringing Deeps, grab the Awakening the Machine weekly quest in Gundargaz, and complete the event.
Do not forget to open the Awakened Cache for rewards.
You can pick the Sniffenseeking weekly from the same NPC. To find out exactly where to pick up these quests, search for blue exclamation point icons on the map of Gundargaz.
After completing all your weeklies, you should now have at least 4 Restored Coffer Keys, so it’s time to focus on Delves. Try clearing Tier 8 Bountiful Delves for ilvl 616 loot in your weekly chest, clear the Nerub-ar Palace raid, and complete dungeons to unlock all slots in the Great Vault for next week. Don’t forget about killing Elites and looting Treasure Chests across Khaz Algar.
Focus on upgrading your gear and completing your 4-set bonus. The third Catalyst charge is available this week! Use it to convert a non-set piece of gear into a Nerub-ar Palace class set piece of armor.
Make sure to log in with your max-level alts so they get the Catalyst charge, even if you don’t plan to use it immediately.
