Find out what happens to your characters at the end of MoP Remix in MrGM’s latest video!
For those of you who don’t have the time to watch the video, we’ve also prepared a written write-up.
Mists of Pandaria will end just before the War Within Early Access starts on August 19, 2024. When the event is over, your MoP Remix characters will still appear on the character screen, but with some changes.
- All Remix characters will receive a teleport to Stormwind (Alliance) and Orgrimmar (Horde).
- All event-specific gear will be removed and replaced with Item Level 467 gear to ensure a smooth start in the new expansion. Thanks to the gear boost, your chars will be immediately ready for Early Access in the War Within!
- All your gold will transition over to retail.
- The only downside is your 36-slot bags from MoP Remix will be replaced with 30-slot bags and a 26-slot reagent bag.
- Your action bars will most likely get wiped, so it’s recommended to take a few screenshots of your action bars on all characters.
- You will retain all reputation earned during the event.
- The quest log is wiped, except for the War Within pre-patch quests.
- After the event, you might receive mail with recovered items not exclusive to MoP Remix.
