We’re going over everything new that’s coming for Delves in The War Within Season 1!
Tier 4-11 Difficulties Unlocked!
Additional Delve tiers become available on September 10. If you saved up enough coffer keys, you should be able to run the new difficulties and receive better loot at the end of your run and in next week’s weekly chest.
How Do You Unlock the New Difficulties?
The new difficulties unlock for all the available delves once you finish the tier below it, so if you’d like to unlock Tier 6, you’d need to finish a Tier 5 Delve first. Make sure to complete the 
War Within Delves: Endgame achievement if you have issues with unlocking higher tiers.
What’s the Recommended Item Level for the New Difficulties?
The recommended item level for the new delve tiers is as follows:
- Tier 4: Item Level 548+.
- Tier 5: Item Level 567+.
- Tier 6: Item Level 574+.
- Tier 7: Item Level 587+.
- Tier 8–11: Item Level 600+.

As you can see loot caps at Tier 8, and you won’t get better gear from Tier 9-11 Delves!
Delver’s Journey
The Season track for rewards in The War Within Season 1 is called Delver’s Journey. Every time you complete a delve, you will be granted a quest item that you turn in at the Delver’s Headquarters for journey points. At various thresholds, you will unlock customization options for your Delver’s Dirigible mount.
Zekvir’s Lair (Secret 13th Delve)
When you complete the Delver’s Journey, you will gain access to a 13th secret delve where you must defeat Zekvir for seasonal rewards!
From the seasonal quest, you will receive the 
Toxic Victory toy.
The 
Nemesis achievement requires you to kill Zekvir before Season 2 starts and it gives you the 
Zekvir’s Raptorial Spine cloak.
Let Me Solo Him is a seasonal achievement that requires you to defeat Tier 5 Zekvir alone. Once completed, you’ll unlock 
Delver’s Dirigible Schematic: Void, a void schematic for your Delver’s Dirigible mount!
