Ever joined a queue, only to be distracted for a few minutes and come back to find you missed your chance? If this sounds like you, it’s time to sharpen up! In Patch 12.1, Blizzard is looking to make sure players aren’t repeatedly queueing up and ignoring their pops.
During the latest WoW Ambassador Q&A, Game Director, Ion Hazzikostas, talked about the challenges surrounding queue times, especially for Solo Shuffle. As an effort to make queues smoother, Patch 12.1 will introduce a new queue debuff for players who miss their queues.
Missing a queue will place a debuff on your account that prevents you from immediately joining another one. The first penalty will start at one minute, scaling each time you miss another queue.
Maybe this is a good change for those focused on their screens, but better watch out if you’re running to grab a last minute snack!
