WoW’s 20th Anniversary Bosses: The Easiest Way to Farm Veteran Gear for Tier Set Appearances in Season 1

Staff's Avatar by Staff

The World of Warcraft 20th Anniversary Bosses offer a quick way to gear up your characters. They drop Veteran 3/8 gear at item level 590, making it a fantastic opportunity for players who want to obtain different tints of the same set later in the season without completing raids.

How the Anniversary Boss Gear Works

Each day, players can defeat multiple Anniversary event bosses since they are on a daily lockout. Every kill gives a chance to drop 590 Veteran gear pieces. This daily setup allows you to collect gear consistently across multiple characters and stack up a solid set of Veteran items.

How to Maximize Gear for Tier Appearances

  1. Collect and Upgrade to 4/8: First, focus on looting Veteran pieces from Anniversary bosses and upgrade each piece to 4/8 using the gear upgrading system.
  2. Convert with the Catalyst for Raid Finder Tint: Once you have spare Catalyst charges, you can convert these 4/8 Veteran pieces into set pieces and get the Raid Finder appearance.
  3. Upgrade to 5/8 for Normal Difficulty Tint: After conversion, you can upgrade the gear to 5/8, unlocking the Normal raid color of the tier set appearance. This allows you to get the look of the Normal difficulty tier set without needing to do raids.

Why This is Great for Collectors

This method is perfect for players looking to farm set appearances without committing to LFR or higher raid difficulties. By planning ahead with the Catalyst and daily farming, you can quickly build a solid Veteran gear set and later transform it into tier appearances with ease!
