According to World of Warcraft’s retail 2025 roadmap, Blizzard is planning to unveil the Midnight expansion, the next chapter in the Worldsoul Saga, in the Summer of 2025. This will be the official reveal, not the actual expansion release, and it’s expected to give us a first look at what’s to come in the continuation of the Worldsoul Saga story.
The Midnight expansion reveal is positioned between Patch 11.2 in the summer and Patch 11.2.5 in the fall.
Following the reveal, Alpha testing is expected to start a few weeks later.
When Could Midnight Launch?
If the reveal and testing align with typical development timelines, Midnight might be ready for a full release in early 2026, likely around February to March.
